Happy best day of the week!

Life is suffering.

In its purest form, despite how beautiful and euphoric it may be, it’s not without magnificent levels of suffering.

Yet, who will you be to others in the face of life’s hardships?

This weeks D-Cubed is on being a beacon of hope and sanctuary for others.

Now let’s get to it; Here’s 1 Thought, 1 Quote, and 1 Question for the week…

1 Thought From Me

Those who seek pity and those who seek compassion are a different breed of man- in their intentions, morals, and purpose.

By the very emotion you seek to be pitied you make yourself pitiful.

This however cannot possibly happen when two beings are drawn together, one in nurture of the other.

We have but one obligation; to be a good person.

If you need help, comrade, just ask.

1 Quote From Another

“Don’t be ashamed of needing help. You have a duty to fulfill just like a soldier on the wall of battle. So what if you are injured and can’t climb up without another soldier’s help?”

Marcus Aurelius, Meditations, 7.7

1 Question For You

What can you do, that you would do, to show up for others?

If you enjoyed that, please pass it along
